Give It A Shot – Wiley Roots Brewing Undead Apumpalyptica Pumpkin Spice Latte Barleywine

When October comes, many things come to mind. Cooler weather (depending on where you are), fall break, pumpkins, scary movies, and trick or treating are just a few of the  many great things about this month. The arrival of autumn also signifies the return of one of our favorite traditions here at About Beverages; the tasting of pumpkin beer. It is a well-documented fact that pumpkin beers are not Keith’s favorite, but he has developed an appreciation for some of them over the years. We often joke that Andrew tortures Keith with pumpkin beer, but truth be told we both really enjoy this time honored tradition. It should come as no surprise to you that for this episode we will be featuring a pumpkin beer. This week we will be trying the Undead Apumpalyptica Pumpkin Spiced Latte from Wiley Roots Brewing Co. Besides being a pumpkin beer, it is also a Barleywine Style Ale, which is also typically not a Keith preferred style. This beer is brewed with cold brew coffee, marshmallow, and pumpkin spices including allspice, cinnamon, and nutmeg. What did we think? What do you think?
