Japanese Green Tea IPA & New Hop Varieties
Just thought I would let everyone know about a couple of things that caught my eye recently on the beer front, both from Stone Brewing. First their next collaboration beer, a Japanese Green Tea IPA, was made with the help of Bryan Baird of Baird Brewing & Toshi Ishii of Ishii Brewing. The beer will be dry hopped with Japanese Sencha. This is a loose, whole-leaf tea that we happen to carry at Arbuckle Coffee and I have had many times. It will be quite interesting to see how the flavor profile comes through. Proceeds from the beer will benefit tsunami relief. Second is a post they put up about some new hops that arrived at the brewery.
