Give It A Shot – Pure Project Brewing Petrified Murky Double IPA
As fate would have it, last Thursday was National Hazy IPA Day and Andrew made sure we would have something with which to celebrate.
A few weeks back we didn’t realize until it was too late that National IPA day fell on Thursday. As you may know, we are live on Twitch.tv most Thursday evenings around 5:30 PST and it would have been perfection for us to have tried at least one IPA in honor of this special day. Unfortunately we had a last minute adjustment to the lineup and the one thing that got replaced was an IPA. The good news is that it has not taken us long to make amends for the aforementioned beverage faux pas. As fate would have it, last Thursday was National Hazy IPA Day and Andrew made sure we would have something with which to celebrate. For this week’s show we will be trying the Petrified Murky Double IPA from Pure Project Brewing. Featuring Nelson, Motueka, and Nectaron hops, this beer checks in at 8.3% ABV. We have tried a few other things from this San Diego brewery in the past and really liked them so we are hopeful that the trend will continue, especially with it being National Hazy IPA Day.
