Top wineries are beginning to sell their wines at a much reduced rate due to overstock. In a recent article from MSNBC small business, Pinot Noir grapes that used to be sold for nearly $5,000 a ton are now selling for closer to $2,500. Many winemakers are being left with overstock of their wines priced above $20 due to the current economic climate. What does this mean for the consumer?
