What’s on tap for the week of September 10th – September 16th 2012

Just a little reminder of what will be going on at AboutBeverages.com for the week of September 10th - September 16th 2012. We have two very different beverages featured this week, yet they are still connected by one particular ingredient, the agave plant. It all starts Tuesday with a "Give It A Shot" featuring the Sauza Tres Generaciones Plata Tequila. We will be tasting this one by itself and then with some of its companions in a margarita. Then on Thursday we will have another "Give It A Shot" with the Oogave Cola. This all natural organic soda uses agave nectar as its sweetener which cuts the sugars by roughly half of a normal soda. Pretty clever how that all ties together, right? Tequila is made from the agave plant and the cola uses agave nectar. Alright, I've beat that into the ground.
