On the horizon…week of September 20th – September 26th 2010.

Just a little reminder of what will be going on at AboutBeverages.com for the week of September 20th – September 26th 2010.  It is going to be a great week here at AboutBeverages.com as we will be posting the very first article from Dave our “So Cal” blogger.  Things will get kicked off on Monday with episode 20 of the AboutBeverages.com podcast.  The topic will be five session beers that are lighter in alcohol but not in flavor.  On the podcast for the first time ever we will have a guest, Eric from Mr. Beer.  Longtime listeners and readers of our website are quite familiar with his work but if you’re not, Eric is the Senior Brewmaster for Mr. Beer, a certified BJCP beer judge, and loves a good beer.  Then on Tuesday we will be posting the first article from our new blogger to the Sessions AboutBeverages section of our site.  Dave’s “So Cal” Blog this week will feature a story about a recent discovery of a reference Chardonnay in a place you may not expect.  At the end of each post, feel free to leave a comment and let us know what you think  If you feel like you want to start a discussion you can have a seat at The Round Table and begin a topic of your own.  If want to learn more about our new contributor head over to the Sessions AboutBeverages section and read his bio.  Then on Thursday we will wrap up the week with another “Give It A Shot” featuring a blind tasting of the 2007 & 2008 Napa River Chardonnay.  If you have any questions or ideas for things we should try, send us an email to AboutBeverages@q.com.
