On the horizon…week of October 3rd – October 9th 2011

Just a little reminder of what will be going on at AboutBeverages.com for the week of October 3rd – October 9th 2011.  Autumn is finally hear and with that brings festivals, harvesting, and of course Halloween.  In honor of all of those things on Tuesday we bring to you the listener a “Give It A Shot” featuring a four pack of pumpkin beers.  We are following the format that we started last year (you can find that podcast here) where we taste three new pumpkin beers and then bring back our favorite from the previous year.  This year the new pumkin beers are:  Blue Moon Harvest Pumpkin Ale, Shock Top Pumpkin Wheat, and Uinta Punk’n Harvest Pumpkin Ale.  The returning champion is the Dogfish Head Punkin Ale.  Will we crown a new champion or will the Dogfish Head Punkin Ale reign continue?  Find out Tuesday.  That’s the big news for now, but make sure you’re following us on twitter for all of our other beverage tastings and info.  Click the link here to get to our twitter page.  Also don’t forget to check out our channel on youtube.
