On the horizon…week of July 25th – July 31st 2011

Just a little reminder of what will be going on at AboutBeverages.com for theweek of July 25th - July 31st 2011. On Tuesday we will be posting the final "Give It A Shot Podcast" that was recorded during the festivities of a few weeks back. We will once again be joined by our brother Joe who was simply joining us because that's where the beer was. This time I think he got very lucky because we tried the Stone Brewing Belgo Anise Russian Imperial Stout. It's their second release in their "Odd Beers for Odd Years" series. This brew blends some of the RIS they brew every year with a batch made using Belgian yeast and anise. I know, it doesn't initially sound like a winning combination but just listen on Tuesday and hear for yourself. That's the big news for this week, but make sure you're following us on twitter for all of our other beverage tastings and info. Click the link here to get to our twitter page.
