On the horizon…week of January 2nd – January 8th 2012

Just a little reminder of what will be going on at AboutBeverages.com for the week of January 2nd - January 8th 2012. We begin the new year here at the website with what we do best, a podcast. On Tuesday we will have a "Give It A Shot" featuring the Perseverance Ale from Alaskan Brewing. It's a Russian Imperial Stout brewed to celebrate their 25th anniversary. It uses Alaska Birch Syrup, Fireweed Honey, and a touch of their alder-smoked malt. That same smoked malt can also be found in their Smoked Porter which we have tasted in the past.
