Interesting post on the Time Out Chicago blog about the latest batch of Booker’s that is about to hit the market. Not only does Fred Noe, the current tastemaker, say it is his favorite, (I know big surprise) it is also the strongest they have ever produced at 130.1 proof. Fred says he doesn’t like to tell people the alcohol content until after they have tried it since he says it still retains a wonderful smoothness with light vanilla notes.
