We are Live on Location this week at Tap and Bottle for the final part of our three show series. Owners Scott and Rebecca kept the conversation going for part two as we discussed everything from session beers (of which two were tried) to sours to gluten free options of which they have many. Also of note is that we talk a bit about the Daytime IPA from Lagunitas that just won the gold medal in the session beer category at the World Beer Cup. Getting back to the tasting of beers, first up was the Counter ClockWeisse from Destihl Brewing. Part of their Wild Sour Series this beer is “uber” sessionable at only 3% ABV. The second and final beer of our show is the Four Peaks Brewing Short Hop ISA (India Session Ale). This seasonal offering is made to coincide with the start of baseball season.
