This show originally aired on March 15th 2012. I can’t believe I didn’t realize this earlier, but this has been IPA week here at the website. So to finish things off we have the Ruthless Rye IPA from Sierra Nevada. Rye beers are something we have only recently been exposed to, but so far seem to be quite interesting. It may seem obvious, but what makes a rye beer is not that the brewer loves the song American Pie by Don Mclean, but that they use a significant amount of rye as part of the grain bill.
