Give It A Shot – Yellowstone Select Kentucky Straight Bourbon

Last week we ventured into uncharted territory as we tried an alcohol-free bourbon. We quickly found out that we have yet to develop an appreciation for that beverage category. We will eventually try another offering of that ilk but for this week’s show we decided to return to the type of bourbon that does contain alcohol. The beverage we will be featuring was given to Keith as a Christmas present and we decided that there was no time like the present to uncork this gift. For this episode we will be trying the Yellowstone Select Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey from Limestone Branch Distillery Company. This whiskey is a handpicked blend of 4 and 7 year old bourbons from seventh-generation distillers. Limestone Branch Distillery donates a portion of the proceeds from this bourbon to the National Parks Conservation Association (NPCA) which is an independent, non-partisan organization devoted to nurturing our country’s national parks for future generations. Sounds like something that would make Leslie Knope proud.  What did we think?
