Thanksgiving is only a few days away, so many of us have turkey on our minds. At About Beverages, not only do we have turkey on our minds, we will be having Turkey on a podcast. Wild Turkey, that is. We have been sharing some wine options for you to enjoy on Thanksgiving, and while whiskey might not be a traditional beverage thought of at this time (or maybe it is), with the word Turkey in the title it seemed like a fit. The beverage we will be trying on this episode is the Wild Turkey Rare Breed Rye Barrel Proof Whiskey. This whiskey is a blend of 4, 6, and 8 year old Kentucky straight ryes and comes in at 112.2 proof or 56.1% ABV. What did we think? What do you think?
