We have had numerous collaborations on this show throughout the years, most of them being from different breweries getting together to create a limited release. Today on the show we have a beer that is only from one brewery, but brings together so many different ideas it feels like a collaboration. At the tasting table thanks to our special guest Eric, we have the Unity Vibration Kombucha Pale Ale. It’s quite a list of all the different things we have in play today: Double hopping, barrel aged, juniper and kombucha. For those of you not familiar with kombucha, the cliff notes version is it’s a sweetened beverage produced by fermenting black tea with a symbiotic colony of bacteria and yeast (SCOBY). We will get into that and many other things more in depth during the show.
