Give It A Shot – Trooper Iron Maiden Beer from Robinsons Brewery
Iron Maiden, specifically Bruce Dickinson, in conjunction with Robinsons Brewery created a beer. Need we say more? We should? Ok. The beer simply called Trooper is in honor of their song by the same name off the Piece of Mind Album. The song is inspired by the brave 600 British light cavalry that charged against Russian forces during the Battle of Balaclava on October 25, 1854. To go down the rabbit hole a bit further and get even more topical, that battle was part of the Crimean War. As in Russia/Crimea/Ukraine… A beer tasting and a history lesson all in one. Getting back to the beverage at hand, it’s a golden ale brewed by Robinsons Brewery. They are one of the UK’s largest independent family brewers with over 330 pubs across the North West and Wales. Time to taste and see if this beer is “Aces High” or will make you “Run to the Hills”.
