Give It A Shot – Trader Joe’s Shell House Hard Seltzers Pomegranate & Lime
At About Beverages, sometimes we have to remind ourselves that the concept upon which we created this site is that we are excited to try beverages of all kinds. We tend to focus more on our favorites (beer, whiskey, wine, soda, etc), so we are happy when inspiration strikes in the form of a current trend and also when that trend features something we have yet to try. With that in mind, we have decided to try a hard seltzer, a beverage category that has been trending upward the past few years. For this episode we have both the pomegranate and lime flavors of the Shell House hard seltzer from Trader Joe’s. Also known as “spiked seltzer,” they usually get their alcohol from fermented cane sugar and also come in around 5% ABV. What did we think? What do you think?
