Give It A Shot – Trader Joe’s Reserve Barossa Shiraz 2016

Sometimes a beverage comes along that immediately grabs your attention. It could be the latest release from your favorite brewery, a new twist on an old favorite from a trusted distillery, or maybe it is something as simple as the eye catching packaging. This podcast features a wine that made us take immediate notice for two reasons. One, it was made from one of our favorite grapes from a great growing region for this varietal. Two, it is from a trusted source for great wines at value driven prices. The wine we are trying this week is the Trader Joe’s Reserve Shiraz from Barossa in Australia. This bottle would retail from $20-$25 if it wasn’t private labeled exclusively for Trader Joe’s. Listen and drink along with us as we see if this wine has the “legs” to stand on, or at least to cling to the inside of our glasses.  What do you think?
