Give It A Shot – Stone Brewing MoJay IPA

Sometimes the availability of a beer, much like time itself, is fleeting. Through the lens of youth, one looks to the future and it seems endless. In what seems like the blink of an experienced eye we realize that is not the case and no matter what your age tomorrow is promised to no one. On a similar, though not as deeply philosophical scale, a delicious beer being available tomorrow is also promised to no one. In addition to their usual offerings, most breweries now brew beers to only be offered at the brewery or in very limited release. These “one-offs” are most often highly prized and are rewards for those individuals willing to sacrifice their time and a few extra hard-earned dollars to procure them. We are fortunate to have one of these beers on our podcast. This week we will be trying the Mojay IPA from Stone Brewing. It is made with Mosaic hops and according to the people at Stone it brought to mind fresh squeezed orange juice, hence the name. What did we think? What do you think? Let us know in the comments below or join us live on Thursday nights to give us your feedback while we are live streaming on Twitch.
