Give It A Shot – Stagg Jr. Barrel Proof Unfiltered Bourbon

For this episode we will be trying a beverage that was given to us by a loyal follower of the show. Granted, it was a Christmas present, but that still counts. This week we will be trying the Stagg Jr. Barrel Proof Unfiltered Bourbon. Barrel proof means this checks in at around 67% ABV, so we must be ready for the heat. Speaking of that, we came across an article that discussed the merits of adding water to whiskey and how to calculate how much to add. It intrigued us and we decided a bourbon with this high of an ABV would be a perfect candidate for some experimenting. What did we think? What do you think?
