What’s better than finding a delicious Zinfandel? Finding one at a good price of course! Today at the tasting table we will be uncorking the 2012 Sebastiani Zinfandel. Sonoma County is well known as one of the finest regions in the US for this particular grape, but that type of quality usually comes at a cost. This particular bottle is priced around $17 depending on where you shop. That may be a fair, we’ll find out soon enough, but thanks to our local Trader Joe’s our cost was only $9. Time to taste and discover if the right balance of fruit and spice we look for in a Zin has been achieved or if this one should have stayed on the vine.
