Being a Brewmaster requires a few very important things: A knowledge of chemistry, a desire for extreme cleanliness and of course a beard. So after 15,000 batches at Rogue Brewing, John Maier decided to bring his two passions together; beer and the hair on his chinny chin chin. It only makes sense that the thing that’s been hanging around with him since 1983 would have a natural yeast perfect for brewing contained within. Taking the self explanatory route, Rogue Brewing simply calls it Beard Beer. To some this may sound like a twisted gimmick of epic proportions and to others this may seem like a logical evolution. We don’t want to give anything away, but we will say both of those types of people will find our show interesting.
