Give It A Shot – Noah’s Mill Small Batch Bourbon from Willett Distillery

We would like to say that we had planned in advance to have a bourbon for the first podcast of September since it is National Bourbon Heritage Month, but that would not be true.

Did you miss us? After a three week unplanned hiatus, we are happy to be back with a new episode and new bourbon to share with you. We would like to say that we had planned in advance to have a bourbon for the first podcast of September since it is National Bourbon Heritage Month, but that would not be true. National Bourbon Heritage Month is an observance in the United States that calls for celebration of bourbon as America’s “Native Spirit” during the month of September. This is something Andrew was not aware of as he selected this particular beverage for this week’s show. Sometimes the powers of the universe align and things work out even better than if you had planned it in advance. The beverage we will be trying for this show is the Noah’s Mill Small Batch Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. Made by Willett, this bourbon at one time had an age statement of 15 years but now is reported to be a blend of bourbons between 4 and 20 years. What did we think? What do you think?
