Give It A Shot – New Belgium Brewing The Hemperor

For several years now, for better or for worse, it has not been uncommon to see a beer augmented in some way by the addition of something besides one of the four necessary ingredients to make a beer. Some of these include, but are not limited to, several varieties of fruit (or the juice from the fruit), chocoolate, spices, natural flavorings, and even chile peppers. We recently came across an entirely different type of ingredient that we had never seen before in a beer, hemp. Certainly this would be a funky adventure, definitely worth sharing with our listeners. Join us as we try The Hemperor, an HPA from New Belgium Brewery. Just remember not to inhale…. or go ahead, it’s your choice.  What did we think?
