Give It A Shot – Kings Coast Coffee Bourbon Barrel Aged Honduras
Sometimes in life there are certain challenges that are unavoidable. Often you see them coming, or at least you know they are out there and will soon be knocking on your door. Many times you are blindsided by them and left to rely on your own survival instincts as well as the love and support of those around you to overcome the situation. We mention this because recently you may have noticed that we took a brief hiatus from our live-streaming on Thursday nights and subsequent podcast recording. Due to a circumstance that we knew was coming (Keith having hip replacement surgery) we had to temporarily pause our weekly gathering where we discuss and share beverages with you. The good news is that Keith is healing nicely (as far as we know) and that we have started trying and sharing beverages again with you. This week marks our return and we have decided to go back to the beverage where it all began for us, coffee. We will be trying the Kings Coast Barrel-aged Honduras coffee. This is a company Andrew was familiar with and you know we are always intrigued when barrel aging is involved, especially when those barrels used to contain bourbon. What did we think?
