Give It A Shot – Joia All Natural Soda Blackberry, Pomegranate and Ginger

Intrigued by the last soda from Joia we brought to the tasting table we decided to try another. The Blackberry, Pomegranate and Ginger is also part of their line of six all natural sodas. Again this one can also be purchased in packs of 4-12oz bottles for $6.49 at Sprouts and other markets throughout the country. With any luck this will be the last time we will have to be without audio or video, but we do have the cliff notes version of our discussion for you available at the site. Enjoy!

  • Continuing the search for new soda options and we found one.
  • Joia All Natural Soda made with Blackberry, Pomegranate and Ginger.
  • The last one had hibiscus, but didn’t look like it from a color standpoint.  This one doesn’t have hibiscus and it’s as red as can be!  Strange…
  • Wondering how much the ginger will come through.  A little warm spice on the finish would be nice.
  • More carbonation in this one, but still not a lot.  And that’s…ok.
  • Good blend of pomegranate and blackberry.  Very bright aromas.
  • Flavor is a great balance of what we got in the aroma.  Nice tart on the finish, but very little ginger.  Perhaps a whisper at most.
  • Sweetness is just about perfect.
  • Still only 28g of sugar which is less than a normal soda.
  • With the balance of fruit flavors, sweetness, carbonation and tart, this is a great option for someone in the market for an all natural soda.  We will have no problem finishing the other three bottles and will look to try more in the future.  If you want to discover what they have come up with for mixed drink options, click the picture below to go their website.
