Give It A Shot – Iron John’s Brewing Company Diego IPA
It may be a new local Tucson brewery and a new beer at the tasting table today, but the brewmaster himself is not new to his craft. The Diego IPA from Iron John's Brewing Company brings with it a legacy of over 20 years of home and commercial brewing experince from head brewer John Adkisson. You may have gathered from the name that it's a SoCal-style IPA, but the twist (at least to us) is the 5% ABV making it sessionable. Currently beer can be purchased at the bottle shop (link below) in 750ml resealable bottles. If an IPA is not your thing Iron John's also is currently stocking a Red Rye Lager (think steam-style beer), Oak-N-Rye Barleywine and Black Hearted Mary Imperial Stout. Prices range from $13 to $17.
