The question posed on today’s show is this. Can you lose a battle against yourself? Let us explain. Today on the show we will be tasting the Union Jack IPA and the Mission Street IPA. Both are made by Firestone Walker. The Union Jack is made under the aforementioned company name and the Mission Street is made exclusively for Trader Joe’s by Steinhaus Brewing Company which is Firestone Walker. The idea for this show came about awhile back when Keith was wondering how much of a flavor difference there was between these two IPAs made by the same company. You would expect there to be some, but would it be enough to justify the $3 to $5 price difference? To make sure the comparison was on a level playing field we had our wives pour the beers. Let’s drink! If you have any ideas for future episodes of “Give It A Shot” or just have a question, you can always send us an email to AboutBeverages@q.com.
