Give It A Shot – Erath Oregon Pinot Noir 2016

We know that while we are truly about all types of beverages, we do tend to skew more often toward beer. It is easy to buy just one for us to talk about on a podcast and with few exceptions, the price structure is usually just what we are looking for. However, this week our fancies take a turn for the grape at About Beverages. This podcast (and the one which follows it) came about as we tried to decide what the menu would be for our Thursday night livestream session. We won’t bore you with the details, but the end result was that we would try wines this week. We settled on the Pinot Noir varietal and decided to compare and contrast the Oregon and California styles. We decided to start with the selection from Oregon and the one we chose was the Erath Pinot Noir. This is the 2016 vintage and usually runs right about $15 or $16. What did we think? What do you think? Let us know in the comments below or join us live on Thursday nights to give us your feedback while we are live streaming on Twitch.
