The podcast you are about to watch was about 9 months in the making. Actually the more we think about it, the time it took to get to this point was longer. Much longer. The reality is that this podcast was a journey that took about ten years to reach the destination. We say ten years because the idea for us to start our website happened over ten years ago. We will talk about that in more detail over the next few months as we celebrate our 10 year anniversary with all of you. The events that directly made this possible began about 9 months ago. It is hard to believe, but we have now been streaming live via Twitch since early last year and it is because of those of you who support us in any way that we were able to try the beverage that we will feature in this video. Because of your appreciation for what we do, we found ourselves in the position of being able to purchase a beverage well outside of our normal budget. As our way of saying thank you, we did not try this particular beverage until we could be on camera to record a podcast live and share it with you. We narrowed our choices down to materials in the spirit world, specifically a bourbon or scotch. With a little bit of research and the help of Scott at Total Wine, we narrowed our choices down to a final four and ultimately to the winner.
