Give It A Shot – Drumshambo Gunpowder Irish Gin
We have been fortunate in our 11-plus years at About Beverages to have met more great people than we can count. So many of you have shared parts of your life and passion for beverages with us that we are humbled as we contemplate this concept. It is an ongoing endeavor that we continue to be grateful for and that we hope you enjoy as well. The magic of the internet has certainly increased our opportunity to reach more people, but it is still great to meet people the old-fashioned way, face to face. This is more of a challenge with the way things are currently, but it is still possible. We mention all of this because a few months back, Andrew was at Total Wine and got a recommendation on something to try for one of our shows. We have received many great suggestions over the years from Scott, but this time he spoke with Roy. Andrew was in the market for a new gin and the suggestion he received from Roy was to try the Drumshambow Gin, so that is what we are going to do. It is made by The Shed Distillery in Ireland and features oriental botanicals as well as gunpowder green tea, which definitely intrigues us. What did we think? What do you think?
