We did not really plan it at the time, but we now realize that there is a common thread to the two items that we are trying this week. No, we are not trying another Metallica beverage collaboration or something from Stone Brewing. The theme, albeit a loose one, is that both of these beverage purveyors have made previous appearances on our show this year. Metallica made an appearance in March with their Blackened Whiskey and the winery that made this episode’s beverage was featured back in January. On this show we will be trying the Cooper and Thief Tequila Barrel Aged Sauvignon Blanc. This Sauvignon blanc, which also has some other white wines that comprise 22% of the blend, is aged for three months in Casa Noble anejo tequila barrels. Barrel aged anything intrigues us, and this will definitely be a new experience. What did we think? What do you think?
