Give It A Shot – Caorunn Scottish Gin

To be honest, the first thing that comes to our minds when we think of a distilled spirit from Scotland would be Scotch. It certainly seems like the most logical option, but we have come to discover that's not the only thing we should think of. At the tasting table today we have the Caorunn Scottish Gin. Your read that right, a gin from Scotland. Longtime viewers may remember this isn't the first gin we have had from that area (The Botanist) and we're sure won't be the last. Infusing not only the usual gin suspects along with some local botanicals (rowan berry, heather, bog myrtle, dandelion, coul blush apple) is what sets it apart. Time to taste and find out if this gin makes us long for a martini or wanting to stick with Scotch. If you have any ideas for future episodes of "Give It A Shot" or just have a question, you can always send us an email to AboutBeverages@q.com.
