Give It A Shot – Breakside Brewery IPA

Beer and vinyl! Vinyl and beer! Two things we at AboutBeverages are very passionate about. If you have been following us and listening to our podcasts for any length of time, you probably are not surprised to see that we are speaking and writing about beer. You may, however, be surprised and curious as to why vinyl is coming up in this post. The reason is because recently while shopping for beer at Tap and Bottle North, a particular bottle caught Keith’s eye. Partially because it was an IPA, but also because of four other words on the label: Tastes Like Vinyl Sounds. This was something we had to delve into and find out for ourselves. The beer in question is the Breakside IPA from Breakside Brewery in Portland, OR. It features a variety of Northwest hops and their website lists this beer as a Northwest IPA. Listen to find out what we thought of this beer and of the bold statement on the label. After listening to us, we recommend putting on some vinyl and pouring yourself something delicious to enjoy with your music of choice. What did we think? Sit back and watch or listen. What do you think? Let us know in the comments below or join us live on Thursday nights to give us your feedback while we are live streaming on Twitch.
