Give It A Shot – Almanac Beer Barrel-Aged Peach Sournova

It is becoming more and more frequent that we find a few of our favorite things in one convenient package. At least as it pertains to beer. However, even when you have the best of intentions and ingredients, if these components are not in the hands of a talented brewer or brewery, things can go awry very quickly. So we guess then it must be mentioned that one of those favorite things is not an ingredient or style, but the actual person or persons as well. With that being said, this podcast features a beer that on the surface seems to have great potential of being a winner as far as we are concerned. The beer we will be trying on this podcast is the Almanac Peach Sournova. It is a barrel-aged sour ale from a brewery who definitely knows their way around this particular style.  What did we think?
