Somehow in the “What’s on tap” feature we neglected to tell everyone to “Come on and take a Freeride” APA from Alaskan Brewing. How that musical connection with The Edgar Winter Group was missed is beyond us, but hey it happens. The connection that we hope is not missed is between a great tasting beer and our palates. The Freeride American Pale Ale is on the lower end of the ABV scale at 5.3% and uses a trio of hops (Cascade, Centennial and Citra) to showcase what the Pacific Northwest is all about. The Summer beer options we have enjoyed over the last few weeks have been good, but on the mellower side. We will be looking for this one to elevate the flavor.
