Give It A Shot – 2017 Espiral Vinho Verde
You may have noticed that we did not put out any podcasts last week. At least we hope you noticed. That means that you are following us and that hopefully you are enjoying what we are doing. We took a one week hiatus so that we could cull together some great ideas for future shows and we came up with several! After much discussion, we settled on a winner. As for the other ideas, don’t worry, they will make an appearance in future weeks. The topic we decided on for this weeks shows was “Wines Andrew Has Not Heard Of.” The title doesn’t exactly roll off of the tongue but it is pretty straight forward. The wine featured on this show is the Espiral Vinho Verde. Literally translated as “Green Wine,” the title actually refers to a specific area in Portugal where several types of grape varietals are grown to make this wine. What did we think?
