Hard ciders are a fast-growing segment of the beverage universe. Made from many different types of apples and in a multitude of styles, they are naturally gluten free which further broadens their appeal. We have tried a few over the years starting in 2010 with Samuel Smith’s Organic Cider and most recently we had the Blueberry Spaceship Box from Superstition Meadery. It is a category we really enjoy that we intend on exploring more. We will make good on that intention this week as we will be trying the Prickly Pearadise Prickly Pear Cider from 2 Towns Ciderhouse. This cider is made with a fusion of NW apples and prickly pear cactus fruit. It is available year round and has an ABV of 5.3%. What do you think?
