Give It A Shot – Stone Brewing 09.09.09 Verical Epic Part Deux

It has been over a year since we last tried (and enjoyed) the 09.09.09 Vertical Epic from Stone Brewing. I (Andrew) have been storing two other bottles since then and we thought it would be interesting to try it one more time and see what changes may have occurred, before waiting until December 2012 for a final tasting. For those of you not familiar with what Stone is doing, they have been creating bottle-conditioned ales since 02.02.02 designed to be aged until their final batch on 12.12.12. At that point you can enjoy them all in a "vertical" tasting. Unfortunately we were late to the party in trying these beers so if anyone out there has had any of the previous years we would love for you to a leave a comment or send us an email with your tasting notes. Enjoy!
