Give It A Shot – Shipyard Brewing Monkey Fist IPA

Shipyard Brewing and their stable of beers are becoming a little easier to find as of late here in the southwest.  They first won over our palates with the Pumpkinhead seasonal several years back.  More recently they did it again with another pumpkin beer, the Smashed Pumpkin, which is part of the Pugsley’s Signature Series.  Moving away from seasonal offerings, today on the show we have the Monkey Fist IPA.  The hop backbone of this beer comes from the use of Warrior, Glacier and Cascade.  The graphic you see below may be a possible indication of the abuse our palates are about to take, but being the veteran tasters that we are, we should be up for the challenge.  If you have any ideas for future episodes of “Give It A Shot” or just have a question, you can always send us an email to AboutBeverages@q.com.
