Give It A Shot – Samuel Adams Alpine Spring

Samuel Adams Alpine Spring is, you guessed it, a Spring seasonal. It's an unfiltered lager looking to bridge the gap between Winter and Summer. Although to our thinking he's going from a lighter lager in the Spring to a heavier ale in the Summer. Shouldn't that be reversed? We're probably over analysing that I suppose. This has become a much larger market over the last few years with breweries looking for new seasons to make special beers for. In fact it's almost like they've turned the year into micro seasons. We no longer simply have four, but more like eight or even twelve depending on the brewery. Whatever the reason, new beer options are always a good thing. Enjoy!
