Keith took a little time out from his vacation a few weeks back to track down some beers that unfortunately don’t make it to Arizona. Thanks to a well stocked Whole Foods in San Francisco, he was able to pickup a bottle of Pliny the Elder from Russian River Brewing. This American Double/Imperial IPA uses Amarillo, Centennial, CTZ, and Simcoe hops. Hitting the ABV scale at 8% it will be interesting to see if this beer can possibly measure up to all the buzz surrounding it. That documentary about beer is really cool! Although I was a little dissappointed to see so much Budwesier, Coors etc. in their visuals. I have to believe that things would have turned out a lot differently if early beer tasted like those beers…
