Give It A Shot – Oogave Natural Organic Cola
Can you take a rainbow and put it in your pocket? Can you sweeten a cola with agave nectar? One man set out to definitively answer the second question with a large lineup of sodas. Stephen "Esteban" Anson began serving his handcrafted Oogave sodas in 2005 at his restaurant. They became such a hit other local establishments wanted to carry them as well. All of this growth led to the opening of their bottling plant in 2009. Certified Kosher and Organic by Scroll K and the Colorado Department of Agriculture, these Oogave sodas sweetened with agave nectar can be found in all 50 states. Today on the show we will be tasting their cola, but looking at the other options available on their site, we may be sampling more in the future.
