Give It A Shot – New Belgium Rampant IPA and Spiegelau IPA Glasses
The Spiegelau IPA glass worked very well last week, but can it handle an Imperial IPA? That's what we find out today as we pour a glass of Rampant Imperial IPA from New Belgium brewing. This is the latest in a long line of beers from their Explore Series which can be found year round. For an Imperial, it's on the lighter ABV side compared to others we have had in the past at 8.5%. For the final round of comparisons we decided to put the IPA glass against a chardonnay style wine glass. We remarked in our previous podcast how the upper part or bowl was very similar to a wine glass. We figured we had exhausted some of the typical glass styles and why not think a little out of the box. Let the tasting begin!
