Give It A Shot – New Belgium Brewery Lips of Faith Clutch

As much beer as we consume for these podcasts it still amazes me how many different styles we have barely even scratched the surface of. One of those styles we will be trying today thanks to New Belgium Brewing and their Clutch Dark Sour Ale. Sour beers are characterized by an intentionally tart almost vinegar like flavor. One other thing to mention is that these beers as a rule can be a little more on the expensive side due to the unpredictability when using wild yeasts and the amount of time it takes to properly ferment. If you are unsure if this style is for you, try and find a local pub that may have one on draught for you to sample or just trust our two podcasts on the subject. Enjoy!

It is time once again for our “Give It A Shot” podcast where we share with you, our valued listener, something we discovered that needs to be shared immediately.  If you have any ideas for future episodes of “Give It A Shot” or just have a question, you can always send us an email to AboutBeverages@q.com. Earlier this year we did a podcast featuring another sour beer which you can find here.
