Give It A Shot – Left Hand Brewing Wake Up Dead Russian Imperial Stout

How fitting one day after Halloween that we greet you with the Wake Up Dead Stout from Left Hand Brewing. It's a Russian Imperial Stout to be exact that is cellared for four months before being unleashed upon the public. Available year round in this version or in limited quantities that have been barrel aged for 12 months. The only difference is a slight change in label color. The reason we make mention of this is that during the podcast we thought we had the barrel aged version. When editing began we realized that we had the perennial version instead. Don't be surprised when you watch the video and hear us mentioning things like, "I can't wait to try this barrel aged stout!" only to be slightly disappointed. This beer does stand on its own with some very unique flavors which you'll hear about once you press play. As a side note, if anyone know where we can get the barrel aged Wake Up Dead we would really like to try it. If you have any ideas for future episodes of "Give It A Shot" or just have a question, you can always send us an email to AboutBeverages@q.com.
