It’s time once again for us to Fade into one of our most anticipated beer series of the year; The Fade to Black from Left Hand Brewing. Now on their 4th Volume in this series they have chosen the style of “Rocky Mountain Black Ale”. The previous versions in order were a Foreign Extra Stout which is still our favorite, a Smoked Baltic Porter and a Pepper Porter. All have been great in their own unique way and until now have been easily recommendable. That last comment sounded a little ominous in its foreshadowing didn’t it?
