Give It A Shot – Crispin The Saint Natural Hard Cider

Hard ciders are not something I usually look for when at my local beverage store making a purchase. There's nothing wrong with them, we've tried several on previous podcasts. So when Keith mentioned to me he had a cider recommended to him by a friend, I was less than enthusiastic. What I discovered later that got my attention was this cider is fermented with Belgian Trappist beer yeasts. The Saint Natural Hard Cider is part of Crispin Cider Co. Artisanal Reserve line. No matter the outcome of our tasting, we would be very intrigued to try some of the other unique ciders in this line, particularly the Lansdowne Hard Cider made with Irish Ale yeast and organic molasses. Enjoy!
