Give It A Shot – Bleepin’ Black IPA Home Brew

It is time once again for our “Give It A Shot” podcast where we share with you, our valued listener, something we discovered that needs to be shared immediately.  If you have any ideas for future episodes of “Give It A Shot” please don’t hesitate to contact us.  If you want to bend our ear you can always send us an email to AboutBeverages@q.com  or have a seat at The Round Table and start a discussion in our forums.  We are always happy to be given samples of new beverages to try.  Recently, we had the opportunity to venture into uncharted territory as we were given a couple of bottles to try by some friends who had just finished making their first batch of home brewed beer.  Whether or not they knew that their beer, which we have affectionately dubbed “Bleeping Black IPA,” would turn into the focal point for one of our “Give It A Shot” segments is up for debate, but that is ultimately what happened.  For this segment, we were also fortunate to have Eric Greene, our resident brew master, in the tasting room and he was able to offer his expert analysis, comments, and some suggestions as well for our beer-brewing friends.  What did we think of this mysterious elixir that we had been graciously presented with?  For the answer to that question and to many others, you will have to listen to our podcast.  Suffice it to say, overall, it was a very hoppy experience.
