Give It A Shot – Abita Brewing Pecan Harvest Ale
We welcome not only a new seasonal beer today, but also a new brewery to the show. Abita Brewing was founded in 1986 and is located just outside of New Orleans. The beers they produce cover the range of styles you'd expect, but what caught our eye in looking for some new seasonal beers was their harvest collection. Comprising that group are three beers: Strawberry Lager, Pecan Ale and Satsuma Wit. All sounded interesting in a unique seasonal way, but in the end we grabbed the sessionable Pecan Harvest Ale and hoped for the best.
